You can hardly describe this plant as an ideal caudiciform. But because it such an interesting and unusual plant, it is included in this blog. This is the infamous Welwitschia mirabilis which is native the desert areas of Namibia. In this very surprising photo, taken at the Berlin Botanical Garden, it is seen growing in a pot.
